Acceptable Use — Review Draft
Draft updated: 18 October 2026. This policy applies to photos and selected settings submitted to Clapping Cat AI, intermediate images, generated video and any generated soundtrack, and the use or distribution of those results. It supplements the Terms. Clapping Cat AI is operated by CUI CHANG, an individual based in the United States. Public checkout and paid generation remain closed; this draft has no asserted effective date.
Photos and permitted use
The service is for adults aged 18 or over. Use only photos you have the necessary copyright and other rights to upload and process. Any person shown must be an adult who has explicitly agreed to the intended use. Uploading someone else's photo without their permission is prohibited, including a photo obtained from social media or a public website. Do not upload identity documents or unrelated sensitive information. Permission to use a photo does not override the restrictions below or establish payment-platform eligibility.
The service uses fixed templates and does not accept arbitrary user prompts. Generated results must be represented as AI-generated; do not present them as authentic recordings or evidence that a depicted event occurred. Respect other people's privacy, likeness, copyright and trademark rights when using or sharing a result. The presence of an example on this site is not a license to reuse its source material; commercial rights to the supplied examples and reference frames still need verification before launch.
Prohibited content
The following six categories are prohibited individually:
- Pornography and NSFW sexual content: no pornography, sexualized imagery, sexual exploitation or nude/sexual transformations of real people. There is no adult-content exception for this image/video service.
- Violence and gore: no graphic injuries, gore, graphic violence, threats, encouragement of self-harm or incitement to harm people or animals. Fictional zombie styling does not permit graphic harm; the story's non-gory appearance and weapon depiction still require scope clarification.
- Hate and discrimination: no hateful or dehumanizing attacks, harassment, discriminatory abuse, or incitement to genocide or ethnic hatred.
- Child sexual abuse material: no real or synthetic sexual content involving minors, child sexual exploitation or other child-unsafe sexual material. Do not upload children's photos; the service and real-person inputs are adult-only.
- Deepfakes and impersonation: no replacing one real person's face or identity with another, nudification, fabricated intimate scenes such as kissing or hugging between real people, or invented real-person statements/actions. These restrictions apply even with consent; claiming to be fiction or adding an AI label does not create an exception. Do not impersonate a person, brand or organization.
- Intellectual property infringement: no unauthorized copyrighted or trademarked material, or content violating another person's publicity, privacy or other rights. You must have rights for both the submitted material and the intended use.
Also prohibited are content promoting or facilitating terrorism, violent extremism or mass violence; technical instructions for weapons of mass destruction; fraud, deceptive advertising, spam and harmful misinformation; and attempts to bypass safety controls, access another account's records or misuse payment or delivery systems. Do not knowingly submit false or abusive reports.
Current feature boundaries
Cat only animates a cat photo. Person + cat synthesizes a person's actions and a cat's reactions by replacing the subjects in reference frames. Zombie Couple creates fictional infected and healthy appearances, with Partner, Family, Best friend and Pet story variants; the human variants include generated contact and actions, and Pet includes generated actions by an adult owner. These capabilities are disclosed rather than hidden from review.
The implemented real-person capabilities raise conflicts with Waffo's published identity-replacement, intimate-scene and fabricated-action restrictions. They remain closed pending a written, mode-specific scope decision. Permission, adult-only wording, a non-romantic label or an AI disclosure does not resolve that conflict. Cat only also requires review and is not pre-approved. The underlying models and actual data flow are listed in the Privacy Notice.
Moderation and enforceable actions
The implementation uses fixed prompts, validates uploaded file formats and isolates tasks by account. Those measures and model-provider safety options alone do not establish that image, video or audio content is safe.
A review path has been prepared for submitted images, intermediate results and final outputs. It requires an allowed decision bound to the relevant content before processing or delivery proceeds. Missing, failed, inconclusive or pending review must hold the request or prevent delivery. Blocked or unverified output must not receive a download link. Review records contain decisions and binding metadata, as described in the Privacy Notice.
This path has only been exercised with simulated responses. A real image/video/audio review service has not been integrated or accepted. Production moderation coverage, maintained rules, urgent escalation and report-to-enforcement operations still need implementation and verification before paid generation opens. There is no claim of a staffed moderation team, continuous review, independent appeals staff or comprehensive automatic video detection. Reading a file or checking sampled frames is not proof that all its content or soundtrack was reviewed.
The prepared controls can reject or hold a generation request and withhold delivery of an affected result; paid access remains disabled while the launch requirements are unmet. The operator may issue a written explanation or warning through the support channel. This draft does not claim implemented account bans or automatic credit forfeiture. A moderation hold is not automatically a confirmed model failure, a credit return or a cash refund. Any remedy must be assessed under the Refund Policy and applicable mandatory rights. Copies already downloaded to a user's device cannot be remotely recalled by this application.
Reports and requests for reconsideration
Email the public support address below to report a violation, an unauthorized likeness, infringement or a suspected incorrect moderation decision. Include the task/order reference if available, the approximate date, the category of concern and a short explanation. For an appeal, identify the decision and explain why it should be reconsidered. Do not attach illegal content, unnecessary private media, identity documents, credentials or full card details; describe the concern first so any necessary evidence can be handled appropriately.
The operator has confirmed that the inbox can receive external email and send replies. The first response is expected within 2–3 business days; see Contact. This is not an emergency or 24/7 channel, a resolution deadline, or a promise of automatic compensation. Urgent child-safety, terrorism and credible-threat reports need prompt escalation, but an operational urgent-response process has not yet been established or verified. That gap must be resolved before launch; this policy does not claim the template's hourly response targets are operating.
The operator handles requests for reconsideration through that inbox: identify the disputed decision, examine the relevant task record and your explanation, ask for only necessary additional information, and reply with the assessment and any available remedy. This is operator reconsideration, with no promise of a separate reviewer or independent appeals team. The email route is available; its connection to actual moderation decisions and corrective actions still needs verification before launch.
Reports and appeals are handled for assessing the reported issue, with relevant data use described in the Privacy Notice. Absolute confidentiality is not promised where lawful disclosure is required. Sending a report or appeal does not itself restore delivery or authorize further generation. No appeal cut-off or automatic waiver of applicable rights is imposed by this draft.
Policy updates
This draft is dated so changes can be identified. A final policy and material changes must be presented before the affected service opens or changed rules apply, with any notice required by applicable law. A policy edit alone does not establish technical enforcement or Waffo approval.
